Les Mills Combat – Week 3 Recap
Today, I’m oh so glad week 3 of doing Les Mills Combat DVDs is over. This was a tough week mentally.
Looking back at week 3:
I’ve been going full steam since December 31st. This week all I felt so tired and sore. Although there were days that I really didn’t want it to push play I did.
My old self has battled this new habit of working towards being healthy. I got one thing to say to my old self, “na,na, na, na, na, you won’t make me stop!” Like the Dan & Rachael mentioned in the DVDs, I didn’t get it because it was easy.
Changes & Results:
A couple of changes made this week as increasing 100 calories and it helped, and I’ve been going to bed a bit earlier to get 8 hours of sleep. Now, it’s time to work on how to keep eating almost clean all the time without spending a fortune.
Now, one of the things that kept me going was the mirror. Waking up every morning to see that my belly is not as puffy as before kept me going. The biggest surprise – well, not really ’cause I’m working my butt off – was losing more than an 1″ at the waist this week for a grand total of 3″ since starting this Les Mills Combat rotation.
What’s on deck with Les Mills Combat DVDs for week 4:
For this new week – which also marks that my journey with LMC will be officially halfway – I’m looking to see improvements with the measurements, but not sure the scale will move as well. I’m okay with this. Right now, all I want is to feel full of energy and having hubby say every morning, “Babe, I can see the changes. You’re looking good!”
