Half Marathon Traning: Recap Week 3

It’s been three weeks since this crazy adventure started. I’m starting to like it!

This week has been so cold that going to the gym to use the treadmill was my only good option. It also meant that for my training I would be walking for a minute and running for two. Fridays is my long run day so I decided to run a 5k (3.1miles) instead of the normal three.

Definitely not easy peasy. I spent the first half thinking about quitting because of the cold. Thank goodness that I was listening to a Michael Hyatt podcast because it got me thru! Good news is that I was able to shave some time off (even though I’m still slow and would probably finish last on a real 5k.)
