Healthy Goals for February 2013
January was a fantastic month. There’s no better incentive than seeing progress be them in pounds lost or inches gone. It really feels good to know that the path of having a healthy life is in the horizon.
February is already here and with it I want to share my goals for this month with you. My hope is that public accountability will help me, hopefully will help you as well to feel inspired and motivated.
- Finish strong Les Mills Combat
I’ve been a little more lax with my meal planning in this last week. I’m going to make a better effort to eat clean 95% of the time. I’m flying to the Chicago Auto Show next week and although I’m a little scare about the meals I plan to do my best making good choices. I’ll be using Instagram (you can follow me @YolyMason there).
- Lose 8 pounds this month
My first goal of the year was to lose 10% of my initial weight. So far, I’ve lost 8.4 pounds which is fantastic! So in February I would like to reach 144 pounds.
- Plan meals
I’ve got a little lazy with this and really, meal planning is key. For better accountability , I’ll be sharing my meals here.
- Take vitamin B & D daily
I got to talk to a doctor this week about blood work done in December. This was what prompted this lifestyle change. I’m taking more vitamin D as normal since my levels were ultra low. My plan is to get blood work done again in three months to see where I stand.
As my reward for attaining this goal, I’m going to get a pedicure! With all those kicks, this will be a very rewarding experience.
