Gifts Under $50 For Photography Lovers

One of the main reasons for having this blog was to be able to continue exploring my passion for food photography. So much to learn so much to enjoy and of course, eat. Here’s my wish list of holiday gifts under $50:

Lowepro Adventura 170 Camera Case – $23.12 This is a shoulder bag that can hold a DSLR and one lens, with pockets and storage for other accessories. It has padding to protect the items inside and is very durable.

Sunpak 620-080 Tripod – $24.95 A tripod is a great tool for photographers. It provides extra stability for their camera and keeps it level when taking pictures. It has adjustable heights up to 60 inches.

AmazonBasics Backpack for SLR Cameras and Accessories – $29.99 This is a roomy backpack that can hold two camera bodies and up to four lenses plus all the necessary accessories for any photographer looking to store all of their gear in one place!

Joby GP3 GorillaPod SLR-Zoom Flexible Tripod – $32.33 This is an extremely versatile tripod – it is smaller than a standard tripod because it is flexible, allowing the photographer to wrap the legs of the tripod around anything to get the shot!

64GB SD XC SDXC Class 10 IF3C Professional High Speed Memory Card – $34.99 This SD card has an extremely large capacity at 64GB. It is a great choice for the photographer who takes a lot of pictures and doesn’t always have access to a computer for downloading.

Neewer TT560 Flash Speedlite For Canon/Nikon Digital SLR Cameras – $39.95 This is an external flash which attaches to the top of the camera, giving images more light in lower light settings. While DSLR cameras do come with an on-camera flash, external flashes are much more versatile.

Sumdex DSLR Camera/Notebook Backpack – $43.39 This is a great backpack for photographers who also have laptops, as it will hold not only their camera, lenses and accessories but also their laptop. It does cost about $15 more than the AmazonBasics Backpack listed earlier, but it holds a lot more.

Eye-Fi Mobi 8 GB SDHC Class 10 Wireless Memory Card – $45.24 This SD card is a really neat device. Although it only has an 8GB capacity, it has wi-fi capabilities for photographers to upload the pictures from their camera to their iPhone/iPad or Android device without having to take the SD card out of the camera! It is easy to download the Eye-Fi app on those devices and then connect them to the card.

Love your blog. Great gift ideas. It’s tough to find good gifts that are not too high in price

Thank you Georgette! That’s the one thing about this photography hobbie… it can get expensive very quick. Glad you enjoyed the gift ideas!

I too love photography. I’m planning on taking classes and purchasing a professional camera in the near future. Thanks for the ideas.
