Foot Scrub recipe
In my quest to wanting to lose weight, I have resumed running (more like jogging, but it counts!) at least three times a week. Some days I have to push myself to go out and do at least 3 miles and other days it looks like my legs and feet are more than ready to go.
Now, what I have noticed (me thinks that’s because here in New York state) there’s not so much moisture/humidity and my feet are, well, dried. With this problem in mind I went to Walmart to get a couple of ingredients for a home remedy I could prepare. Since childhood, I’ve always heard that Palmolive dish soaps are good for soft hands while washing dishes. I think, if it’s good for the hands it sure would be good for feet too, right?
Foot Scrub Recipe
2 cups of epsom salt
1 1/2 oz olive oil
1 1/2 oz of Palmolive Soft Touch, coconut aroma
1 oz coconut oil (in liquid form)
10 drops of tea tree oil
1 container (or mason jar)
In the container, add about one cup of the epsom salt. Then add all the liquid ingredients. Mix with a spoon. Add the remaining epsom salt and mix well.0
