Fitness Friday: Let’s hit the road running
We are finally unpacked and the new place is starting to feel like home.Now, this is week 3 of my 22 week “experiment” to have a healthier body. Although I’m waiting to measure and take progress pictures next week, I can tell my tummy is going down! It’s such a rewarding feeling to know that my efforts are paying off.
For the nutrition, since my calories were out of control before, I set them to 1,300. I’m relying to mostly frozen meals so I don’t have to count every single thing I cook. Not ready yet, maybe next week. My challenge this week was battling the sugar cravings. I lost miserably. Next week, I’m planning to buy some fresh fruit so the donut hole attack doesn’t happen again.
This week I started a 21-day Squat Challenge. I can feel the burn baby!
In addition, I retook the 5k training so I feel prepared for the Biggest Loser Runwalk 5k at the end of the month. One thing I’m loving is that weather wise, Western New York is blessing us with below 80 degrees days. It makes running outdoors so much fun!
