Celebrating Uniqueness with ME

This post was sponsored by domain .ME; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own. #ThisisME

I declare this the year of self-care, the year of me first so I can help you next. Most of all, this is my year of being intentional. What about you?

I don’t know about you but for ME it finally feels like a new year. Things are finally slowing down enough to where there’s time to dream and plan about 2015.

Before, I have put my self half-hearted first and made bunch of excuses. That’s ME below. With pretty hair and no makeup receiving 2015 at the airport en route to see our in-laws. Pretty soon it will be what I’ll call, my before picture. Now, I declare this the year of self-care, the year of me first so I can help you next. Most of all, this is my year of being intentional. So, what’s changing?

Happy to Be ME

Before goals, resolutions, new habits, new routines I declare I’m happy to be ME. That’s my first ingredient for a fantabulous 2015.

Have you slow down to smell the roses?

Last year was crazy amazing.

Two moves, two states, two countries, too fast paced. Now that we call Western New York home I’m embracing the feeling of laid back, of thankfulness ,of simplicity, of just be happy. I want more of that, of being more present, of having deep connections.

Unique ME

This time around, I’m not letting the snow deter my efforts to ditch hibernation. 2015 is all about being at my best.

I’m going to work on putting the best version of ME by:

  • moving the esqueleto dancing more
  • start running again (hey, so far I’ve run about 6 miles!)
  • schedule regular “ME time” appointments
  • having cool dinners with my sister while she stays with us
  • being more present when talking to the hubs
  • helping him with his spreadsheets so we have more ME+hubs time
  • telling more stories on the blog
  • sharing my skills and experiences learned with clients

Celebrating Diversity with ME

As I mentioned, my sister is living in our home. I want for her to feel welcome. I want to keep celebrating is our diversity. It’s all about the small details… those are the ones we remember.

And since she is working towards her Masters degree, I want her to celebrate diversity with ME. Because if you ask me, we are all smart Latinas con poder.

What say you? How are you going to celebrate your “ME”?

Let’s celebrate “ME Day,” created by domain .ME. Mark your calendar: March 16th, 2015. This day promotes the values of diversity, tolerance and freedom, as well as self-appreciation and importance of taking care of ourselves.
