2013 Chicago Auto Show Preview
Last week, it was an honor to be invited to attend the 2013 Chicago Auto Show Preview. Muscle cars are one of my favorite things… this show didn’t disappoint.
It had everything! We started the show with the Toyota Tundra press conference where the new and redesigned 2014 Toyota Tundra was unveiled. Hot Wheels Camaros to die for, compact cars, diesel cars, luxury cars… you get the idea! Like one of my friends mentioned, I felt like a little girl in an American Girl store.

One of the cars that blew me away was the 2013 Nissan Juke Nismo. This special edition Nissan Juke comes with a NISMO-tuned 197-horsepower 1.6-liter DIG turbo engine, NISMO-tuned suspension, bold aerodynamic styling, and lightweight 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
Aside all that, this is just a cute car for the woman who enjoys performance! I’ve been a fan of this model so for me it was cherry on top. Also making its first U.S. appearance was an even higher-performance version of the 2014 Nissan GT-R, the limited-production GT-R Track Edition.
Another unveiling that took my breath away was the Superman inspired Kia Optima Hybrid. This Kia collaboration with DC Entertainment and Super Street magazine is amazing. The next one is the Wonder Woman inspired one… crossing fingers I get to see it live. They will be unveiling 8 cars for all the Justice League heroes!
Visitors will enjoy checking out the concept cars on display. From the fun Toyota Corolla Furia Concept, Chevrolet Turbo Camaro,
Hyundai Veloster C3 Roll Top Concept, Chrysler 300 Turbine Concept, Lexus LF-LC Concept, Ford Atlas Concept, Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe, Honda EV-STER Concept, Volvo S60 Polestar and the Hyundai Elantra Zombie Survival Machine:
The show is the perfect outing for the family! The Chicago Auto Show will be available to the public until Monday, February 18,2013 at the McCormick Place.
Hope you and your family enjoy it as much as I did!
