100 Good Deads #DeedADay
2014 was my year to be dedicated to my family. 2015 is going to be my year to keep growing as a person and do more and help more in my community.
Then there was that question that I couldn’t stop thinking about: What if instead of making a New Year’s resolution to lose weight – yet again – we here at Savvy Mujer joined forces with other influencers to jumpstart a #DeedADay movement?
It was a no brainer!
This year, I’m setting a new kind of resolution and it’s all about doing good deeds. I’ve joined the #DeedADay movement and my goal is to wear my bracelet and do a deed a day.
A good deed means we’ve gone out of our way to help someone and only counts if the deed remains anonymous. Each time you do a good deed, move the ring on the bracelet closer to the button. These Bracelets are made by vulnerable women who’ve been trained for this work in Uganda, India, Indonesia, Zambia, South Africa, Rwanda, IniInand Haiti. This project gives a women a way to support their families through earnings, while empowering them to also contribute to good deeds around the world. Curious about the woman who made your bracelet?
I’d like to encourage you to join us and the #DeedADay movement. Share the image above with your friends and familyon Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Pinterest using hashtag #DeedADay and tagging the 100 Good Deeds Bracelet.
And as easy as that, that will be your first Good Deed. Imagine if we all did a good deed a day, what a better place the world would be.0
